Benefits of Kratom
The most important and interesting aspect of the kratom tree leaf, are the active alkaloids that are contained within. The kratom leaf will actually vary in its alkaloid profile depending on the age, geographic location, month to month, and time of harvest. This has lead teams that researched kratom (Shellerad et al. in the 1970’s) to conclude that their may be different geographical variants within the same species.
